Solar Hot Water Services
System Design & Build
Our team begins with a full consultation to understand your property, hot water needs, and exposure. From that, we figure out the correct size of collectors, storage tanks, pumps, and piping. We manage the full process: design, permits, 3D/BIM coordination if needed, then we create detailed shop drawings before we build.
Solar Collectors & Storage Tanks
We install high-quality solar collectors, including flat-plate and evacuated tube models, paired with storage tanks sized to match system output. To prevent freeze damage, we often use drain-back setups. Storage typically ranges from 1.0–1.5 gallons per square foot of collector, with options including glass-lined, fiberglass, or insulated tanks.
Heat Exchangers, Pumps & Controls
To transfer heat safely, we use high-quality heat exchangers. Circulating pumps are selected for efficiency. Our systems include controllers that know when the collectors should run, so your system works only when it should, optimizing performance and minimizing wasted energy.
Installation, Startup, & Training
Once everything is in, we handle full installation: mounting collectors, running pipe, fitting tanks, and connecting controls. After startup, homeowners receive an Operating & Maintenance Manual and system training so they know how to use and maintain the system. We also offer annual maintenance checks.
Benefits of Solar Water Heating
